Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz tequila
  • 1 oz coconut milk preferably full-fat for a richer texture
  • 1 oz lavender syrup recipe below
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 oz triple sec
  • Ice
  • Coarse salt for rimming
  • Lime wheel for garnish
  • Lavender sprig for garnish

Lavender Syrup:

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp dried culinary lavender

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Lavender Syrup: In a small saucepan, combine the water and sugar. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is dissolved.
  • Add the dried lavender and reduce the heat. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and let the mixture steep for 15-20 minutes.
  • Strain the syrup through a fine-mesh sieve to remove the lavender flowers. Allow the syrup to cool completely before using.
  • Prepare the Glass: Run a lime wedge around the rim of your glass to moisten it.
  • Dip the rim of the glass into coarse salt, coating it evenly.
  • Make the Margarita: In a cocktail shaker, combine the tequila, coconut milk, lavender syrup, lime juice, and triple sec.
  • Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well chilled and mixed.
  • Serve: Fill the salt-rimmed glass with ice.
  • Strain the margarita mixture into the prepared glass.
  • Garnish with a lime wheel and a sprig of lavender.
