This delicious recipe combines chocolate flavoured oatmeal with layers of juicy cherries and creamy Greek yoghurt, topped off with a blob of chocolate chips and a dollop of cherry compote. Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup milk dairy or plant-based
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup cherries pitted and halved
  • 2 tbsp cherry compote
  • 1 tbsp chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, mix the rolled oats, milk, cocoa powder, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until well combined.
  • In a mason jar or a glass, add a layer of the chocolate oat mixture.
  • Add a layer of Greek yogurt over the oats.
  • Add a layer of halved cherries on top of the yogurt.
  • Repeat the layers until you reach the top of the jar.
  • Top with a sprinkle of chocolate chips and a spoonful of cherry compote.
  • Seal the jar and refrigerate overnight (or at least for 6 hours).
  • In the morning, stir lightly before eating and enjoy!
