  • 2 garlic cloves roughly chopped
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 tbsp tahini sesame paste
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • A few leaves of fresh basil or parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Roast the Asparagus: Cut the green asparagus into pieces about 3-4 cm (1-1.5 inches) long.
  • Heat the olive oil in a large pan and sauté the asparagus over medium heat for about 8-10 minutes until it is soft and slightly browned, stirring occasionally to ensure even cooking.
  • Prepare the Hummus: Place the roasted asparagus pieces in a food processor.
  • Add the chickpeas, chopped garlic, lemon juice, and tahini.
  • Process the ingredients until smooth and creamy. Add a bit of water if needed to adjust the consistency.
