- 1 onion, finely diced

- 50 g butter
- 750 ml vegetable broth
- 200 ml cream
- 2 tbsp flour
- Salt and freshly ground white pepper

Instructions
- Prepare Asparagus: Peel the asparagus and remove the woody ends. Cut the asparagus stalks into approximately 1 cm pieces, setting the tips aside.
- Cook Asparagus: In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and sauté for about 2-3 minutes until translucent. Add the asparagus pieces (excluding the tips) and sauté briefly. Then sprinkle the flour over the vegetables, stir well and deglaze with the vegetable broth.
